A sunny day at Horsham & Shipley Community Project saw 25 members & partners gather to enjoy a morning of petanque under the tutoring of Russell and his team.

Members were divided into 4 groups and then 2 teams on each piste which led to some interesting family ‘discussions’ as members boules were displaced by their partners boules!

All very competitive and honours were pretty even when we enjoyed the usual coffee, tea & cakes provided when we finished.

The interest was then focussed on who Russ and co had judged to be the best players on the day. They were Peter and Pam. But this was only halfway, as there is another session on the 27th August, so we could be looking at extra time to decide who takes home the cups.
