After meeting at the White Horse Inn at Marehill, Pulborough for coffee at 10:00 on Wednesday 3rd July, a group of 15 set off together for the first stage of the regular monthly walks AF4.
There were 8 on the short walk (about 2 miles) and 7 on the long walk (just over 3.5 miles).
Having successfully navigated a short but very muddy section, the group set off across the Pulborough Wild Brooks. There was a short break/ photo opportunity when everyone reached the bank of the river Arun at the ‘Angel of Doom’ post.
After that the groups went their separate ways with the short walk returning via the centre of Pulborough and the long walk continuing to Wiggonholt Church before completing a circle back to the pub.
Once everyone had safely returned, 14 people enjoyed a drink and a good pub lunch.
