On a very hot morning 17 Members and partners met at the Sussex Oak pub for refreshments prior to setting off on the walk.

The short walkers returned to the pub having reached the Daux roundabout on the A24.

The long walkers pressed on for what turned out to be a pleasant but hot walk. The walk took us through the Warnham Park Estate where we spotted Canada geese and deer sheltering in the shade underneath trees.

We eventually all returned to the Sussex Oak for a very enjoyable lunch where we were joined by the "meal only" participants.
