A bright sunny morning saw 19 members meet at The Stag, Balls Cross for coffee.
Everyone departed together for the first part of the walk into woodland on the edge of the Ebenoe Common Nature Reserve, before the seven short walkers, initially going beyond their designated turnabout, decided that the tarmac'd walk so far, was preferable to the uneven woodland path, and headed back to the pub.
The long walkers continued on a circular walk through open woodland and secluded pathways, enjoying the bright sunlight and sound of many birdsongs.

A relatively gentle walk, with plenty of time for good chat putting the world to rights, and finally arriving back, a tad later than planned for an excellent lunch.
Well done to The Stag for looking after us.
