The walk was around four miles long.

It started from the Pub and the walk gently dropped to the Sussex Border Path and then onto the Wey-South Path towards High Bridge.

The route crossed the canal and passed along Rosemary Lane towards Alfold village then turned right along gentle footpaths, eventually re-joining the Wey-South Path and then returned to the pub.
