A depleted group of just 14 met at the Bolney Stage on an overcast muggy morning. With holidays and no shows, much smaller groups set off for both the long& short walks around Bolney & the Wykehurst Place Estate.

Six short walkers headed into Bolney and the Wine Estate for allegedly just coffee on the terrace before returning to the pub.

The long walkers enjoyed an undulating circular walk of 4.5miles through country lanes & tracks before rejoining the short walkers for lunch.

This was enhanced courtesy of Jim who bought everyone a post walk drink, as a pre-celebration of his 90th birthday the following day.
