This was the first President's Luncheon for our new club and it gave a fantastic opportunity for nearly 80 Members and partners of the new club to meet and socialise for the first time.

The saying "It's a small world" occurred again and again as It was surprising how many Members and Partners from the two previous clubs knew one-another from different walks of life!

The excellent meal selections were delivered with calm efficiency by the staff at Roffey Park which made the whole event very enjoyable.

At the end of the meal, our President, Ken Runcorn, thanked the Member organisers of the luncheon and also the Roffey staff for their excellent service.

Ken then outlined that he wanted to achieve the following things for the newly merged club: To continue setting up all the structures and processes for the new club, make it easier for Members to sign up for Club Events, encouraging Members to get involved in the running of the club, attract new members to the Club and to complete the integration process.
