Twelve of us completed a 3.7 mile walk from Nuthurst on a bright sunny morning . We walked through the nearby woods where the blue bells were at their magnificent best . We then made our way to Monks Gate and then up to the entrance of Sedgwick House , before returning to the start.

Afterwards a well deserved lunch was enjoyed at the Hornbrook pub .
