The walk of about four miles length commenced from Winterpit Lane in Mannings Heath.

The walk, which included one stile near the start, was through woodland and along field edges with the usual undulations but nothing was very demanding. The search for bluebells was successful as they were in full bloom!

After the walk, an enjoyable lunch was taken at Hornbrook Inn.
