Just over thirty members, partners and friends traveled by coach for a four hour visit to Highclere Castle.

A big thank you to Graham who organised this successful trip and our coach driver Jimmy for getting us there, safely and back.

Despite the weather looking threatening at times, it never rained and when the sun came out was quite warm. This seemed to encourage the wasps that appeared whenever food / drinks were about!

The house and Egyptian Exhibition were fascinating but unfortunately taking photographs inside wasn't allowed.

The house had lots of easels with photographs of the cast of the TV series 'Downton Abbey' being filmed.
